Josuha Tree National Park is located in California, about two hours east of Orange County. The park straddles the boundary between the Moajve Desert and the Colorado Desert, and the southern edge of the park is about eight miles north of the Salton Sea. The springtime weather was fairly nice in the park, with temperatures ranging from about eighty-seven degrees in the flat areas, down to seventy degrees at the top of the mountain peaks. During the height of summer, temperatures can climb past one hundred and ten degrees, so spring is a great time to go hiking in the park.
