This section of the Potomac is partially shielded from the sun, and is
completely iced over.
These rocks look pretty cool.
The River Trail cuts inland through the woods. The trail quickly
became very icy. I ended up on my rear several times, both
intentionally (sometimes sliding down an icy hill is the easiest
thing) and unintentionally (those falls must have looked hilarious).
About a half mile after this point, the trail went up a hill, and
was pure ice. I couldn't make it up the hill, so I decided it was
a good time to turn around.
