Both side of the Potomac are still covered in snow and ice.
The Billy Goat Trail runs along the opposite side of the river, and there
were some intrepid hikers hiking it today.
The Potomac cuts through the rocks.
The River Trail runs along cliffs overlooking the Potomac River.
This particular section was right on the edge of a cliff, and the snow
and ice made it particular slippery. I inched along extremely carefully.
My recommendation: pack ice cleats!
